Last week was all about warm ups. Alongside a good warm up, recovery is essential for you to recover and adapt to your training. We often see a lack of recovery in our athletes so here are some easy wins to help you boost your recovery!
1. Eat at least 5 colourful fruit and veg each day.
2. Increase your water intake. This should be 2+ litres per day.
3. Improve your sleep (see our previous infographic on how to improve this). This should be 8-10 hours per day.
4. Eat more protein to help your muscles recover and adapt. Try to eat around 1.4-2.0g per kilo of bodyweight each day.
